  20.     INTRODUCTION:

  23.     This script will spare more space on your hard disk than the original script
  24.     provided with Genetic Species. The original script "JoinAnim" will take more
  25.     than  380 Mb of space on your hard disk joinig  the animation files into one
  26.     big animation  file "GS-Anim.Cdxl". My script will solve  the problem  since
  27.     "GS-JAnim" will create  the big animation file "GS-Anim.Cdxl" but  will take
  28.     less  than 240 Mb  of space on your  hard disk."GS-JAnim" will check  if all
  29.     animation parts are available into the directory ":GENETICS/GeneticSpecies/"
  30.     and if  all files will be OK, my script  will create the file "GS-Anim.Cdxl"
  31.     erasing in the meantime the old files. Try it !

  48.     Simply you have to follow these simple steps:

  50.     1) Extract GS-JAnim.lha
  51.     2) Copy "GS-JAnim" into the directory ":GENETICS/"
  52.     3) Double click on the "GS-JAnim" icon
  53.     4) There is nothing else to do !

  59.     1) download all Genetic Species archives (GS-FullGame01-19.lha)  but also my
  60.        script (GS-JAnim.lha)
  61.     2) unpack into the same partition only the following archives:

  63.       - GS-FullGame 01.lha
  64.       - GS-FullGame 10.lha
  65.       - GS-FullGame 11.lha
  66.       - GS-FullGame 12.lha
  67.       - GS-FullGame 13.lha
  68.       - GS-FullGame 14.lha
  69.       - GS-FullGame 15.lha
  70.       - GS-FullGame 16.lha
  71.       - GS-FullGame 17.lha
  72.       - GS-FullGame 18.lha
  73.       - GS-FullGame 19.lha
  74.       - GS-JAnim.lha

  76.     (The archives 10-19 contain the file "GS-Anim.CDXL" splitted in 10 parts)

  78.     3) Now you  should be able to find my  script "GS-JAnim" into the  directory
  79.        "GENETICS" together  to the other scripts. If it's all ok double click on
  80.        the "GS-JAnim" icon.

  82.     4) Unpack the other Genetic Species archives (02-09).

  86.     5) If you  have followed all explained steps you should be ready to play the
  87.        game, so run the script "Engine", select a graphic mode and enjoy Genetic
  88.        Species !

  90.     NOTE: If you can not take 304 Mb of space on your partition, unpack only the
  91.     archives 01-09 so the game will take about 115 Mb on your partition. In this
  92.     rare case you can not run the script "Genetics" because there is not the big
  93.     animation file "GS-Anim.Cdxl" (190 Mb !)
